  1. Day 1 Nairobi → Amboseli | Afternoon Game Drive

    • Early pick up (around 6–7 AM) from your hotel or JKIA.
    • Scenic drive (4–5 hrs) via Mombasa Road/Loitoktok Road, possibly stopping at Emali for a break.
    • Arrive in time for lunch at your camp or lodge (commonly AA Lodge, Sentrim, Ol Tukai, Kibo Safari Camp, etc
    • After an initial rest, head out on a late-afternoon game drive, perfect for photographing elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos—with Kilimanjaro as your backdrop
    • Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

  2. Day 2 Full Day in Amboseli

    • Rise early (around 6 AM) for a morning game drive, when predator and bird activity peaks
    • Consider a bush breakfast (packed with view over the plains), followed by a rest break back at the lodge
    • In the afternoon, choose between:
    1. Another afternoon game drive, exploring wetlands and swamps where wildlife congregates or
    2. A visit to a Maasai village (optional, ~$20–30pp) for cultural immersion
    • End the day with a sundowner session, dinner, and overnight stay.

  3. Day 3 Morning Game Drive → Return to Nairobi

    • Embark on a final early-morning game drive to catch anything missed—great chances to see elephants by the marsh, buffalo, even lions
    • Return to lodge for breakfast and check-out.
    • As you exit the park, enjoy a short game drive en route to Nairobi
    • Arrive back in Nairobi mid to late afternoon and get dropped off at your hotel or airport.
